Keyboard Texter The "KeyboardTexter" is a PC programm, designed and developed for musicians in the need of putting lyrics into midi files. These lyrics can be viewed on displays of modern keyboards. There are some other programs on the market, which have this feature, but let's be onest: none of them offers a fast and reliable way of entering and editing the lyrics. The time spend on inserting lyrics is enormous. Our goal was to give users with little computer experience the tool for "musically" entering lyrics. Now, you are curious how this works? After starting the "KeyboardTexters" load in the midi file and the corresponding text file. If you don't have any text file, simply type it. Editing is as easy as any word processor can be. To get the best of the lyrics use the hyphenation. After finishing the text use the record button and press the space key in the rhythm on each syllable to syncronize the text to the music. Don't be afraid of making a mistake, you can rewind and punch in whereever you like. Dr. Böhm "Lyric Desk" in entering lyrics or even leadsheets into midi files.
Our goal was to give users with little computer experience the tool
for "musically" entering lyrics. Now, you are curious how this works: after
starting the "Leadsheeter" load the midi file and the coresponding text file.
If you don't have any text file, simply type it. Editing is as easy as any word processor can be.
After finishing the text use the record button and press the space key to step through the text
line by line. You can even write the harmonies between the text lines or load leadsheets as text
